Measure the actual sizes
Stick to the exact measurements, if a cushion is 100cm then that is also the size of the cushion. If you want the seat to consist of two parts, then they will be 50cm each.

The corner
This can be a bit nerve-wracking, keep in mind that one row of cushions takes up the full size of the sofa, and the second row comes up against the other cushions. Therefore, subtract the thickness measurement of one row of cushions.

Example: If the cushions are 8cm thick, then subtract 8cm from the Length above and below on one side of the sofa.

Seat and back tips
Place the back cushions on top of the seat cushions, so also subtract the thickness of the seat cushion from the back cushion. If you want the cushion to stick out a bit, that's fine too.

You can also let the seat cushion protrude a little, but keep it to a maximum of 1cm. Only do this if you think it looks good.

The seat height
If you want a real lounge sofa, a seat height of 42 to 44cm is an ideal height.

If you prefer a more active seat, then a height of up to 50cm is perfect.

Note: We are talking about the height from the ground to the top of the seat cushion.
