Tight Cushions

The tight cushion is filled with a block of polyether, bio foam, or cold foam, which gives the cushion its tight shape and ensures that it is precisely tailored to have a perfect fit.

We recommend a thickness of 8cm and a maximum length of 300cm for this type of cushion. If the cushion needs to be longer than 300cm, it is better to split it into, for example, two cushions of 175cm.

Take into account the seat height of the sofa or chair. A normal seat height (active sitting) is approximately 48cm, for a lounge sofa, it may be slightly lower (42-45 cm). It is always best to test this on a sofa that fits you well.

If the cushions need to be stored, do not make them too large.

Ultimately, the seating comfort is determined by the type of filling, which can be customized in the ordering process according to your preferences.

There are several finishing options available for the tight cushion.

Plof cushions

The plof cushion has an inner cushion filled with polyether flakes. This allows you to sink comfortably into it and adds a cozy touch to your chair or sofa. These cushions are less precise in terms of size.

We advise against making plof cushions longer than 100cm, as they will sink too much otherwise. The thickness does not need to be specified as it is determined by the filling and will be approximately 15-20cm. Note that the larger the plof cushion, the thicker it will become in some cases even exceeding 20cm in thickness.

When ordering plof cushions, please consider the seat depth of your sofa or chair. For furniture with a small seat depth of less than 65cm, there will not be much seating space left when using plof cushions. In this case, it is better to choose a tight back cushion and enhance it with a decorative cushion if desired. It is best to try this out yourself to find the right fit.

Angled back cushion

If your sofa or chair has a straight backrest, an angled cushion can provide more comfort.

Choose an angled back cushion with a left or right miter for a clean, tight fit in the corner.

The thickness of the bottom part of the cushion should be determined by subtracting the desired seat depth from the depth of the sofa or chair. For the thickness of the top part, subtract 5-10cm from the thickness of the bottom part. Do not make it thinner than 5cm.

The best way to determine the right fit is to try it out on a sofa or chair that you find comfortable. For those who like to do the math, it is recommended to take the angle of the backrest at 95-105 degrees. The tight cushion is filled with a block of polyether, bio foam, or cold foam, which gives the cushion its tight shape and ensures that it fits perfectly.

Cushions with angled sides

If your lounge sofa has an angled seat or backrest and you still want to use tight-fitting cushions, it may be necessary to design an angled cushion. The quality is exactly the same as that of a regular tight cushion.

We recommend not making the angle of the angled side too sharp as it can cause the fabric to warp around it.

Ultimately, the comfort is determined by the type of filling, which can be adjusted to your preference during the ordering process.

Round cushions

Custom-made round cushions are a great way to add extra comfort and style to your interior. Whether you're looking for seat cushions for your dining chairs, decorative cushions for your sofa, or lounge cushions for outdoor use, custom-made round cushions can meet all your needs.

When designing custom-made round cushions, it's important to choose the right diameter that fits the chair or sofa they're intended for. A cushion that is too small can be uncomfortable, and one that is too large can detract from the aesthetics of the furniture.

In addition, you should also consider the thickness of the cushion, which is determined by the desired amount of comfort and support you need. Cushions with too thin a filling do not provide enough support, and those with too thick a filling can be uncomfortable.

There are different types of fillings available for custom-made round cushions, including polyether, bio-foam, or cold foam. It's recommended to choose a filling that suits your personal preferences and comfort needs.

Finally, you can customize the appearance of your custom-made round cushions to your personal taste and interior design. There are plenty of colors, fabrics, and finishes to choose from, so you're sure to find something that suits your style.

Lounge chair cushions

Custom-made lounge chair cushions are a fantastic way to add extra comfort and style to your outdoor space. Whether you have a chaise lounge, sun lounger or a daybed, custom-made lounge chair cushions can be tailored to meet all your needs.

When designing custom-made lounge chair cushions, it is essential to consider the dimensions of your furniture to ensure a perfect fit. A cushion that is too small will be uncomfortable, while a cushion that is too large can detract from the overall aesthetic of your furniture.

In addition to size, you should also consider the thickness of the cushion. The desired amount of comfort and support will determine the thickness of the cushion. Cushions with too little padding will not provide enough support, while cushions with too much padding can be uncomfortable.

There are a variety of fillings available for custom-made lounge chair cushions, including polyether, Bio-foam, or cold foam. It is recommended to choose a filling that aligns with your personal preferences and comfort needs.

Lastly, you can customize the appearance of your lounge chair cushions to match your personal style and outdoor décor. A wide range of colors, fabrics, and finishes are available to ensure that you can find something that complements your unique style.
